This LDC adapter is made from 303 Stainless Steel, and retains all of the functionality of the stock barrel tensioner nut, but allows the installation of any LDC with a 1/2-20 thread.  The end is machined so you can use a 1/4" allen wrench to tighten the nut onto your barrel.  We've also changed the clocking of the ports so that this nut is much stronger than the factory one.  Also, as a general rule of caution, be very careful tightening the adapter onto the barrel if you've got a .22 pistol.  The barrel is very thin around the barrel threads and the barrel can break easily, ask us how we know ;).
This part is not a direct bolt-on for the earlier version of the PP700 (with the green grips).  This adapter does screw on the barrel, but it will not work with your factory shroud without shortening the shroud a little bit.
